'The Sabarmati Report' is going to be released in theaters on November 15. Ekta Kapoor is producing this film. There Ekta Kapoor not only talked about the film but also made it clear that she did not ask for support from anyone while making the film nor is she associated with any wing. Describing himself as secular, he also said that the film is only focusing on showing the truth. Its only objective is to make people know the truth about the incident that happened in Godhra in 2002.

Actors Vikrant Massey, Raashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra were also present with Ekta Kapoor during this press conference. Everyone expressed their views regarding the film. Meanwhile, it was asked whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi was consulted before making the film, because he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat at the time of this incident. Answering this question, Ekta Kapoor clarified that she neither sought support from Prime Minister Modi nor the government. She also said, 'I am not associated with any wing.
