Saif Ali Khan comes from a Nawab family. His family ruled the state of Pataudi. There were 10 Nawabs in his family. Saif was anointed as the 10th Nawab of Pataudi in 2011 during a turban ceremony, where 52 village heads tied a white turban to him.
