He was arrested by the Hyderabad Police in connection with the death of a 35-year-old woman during the premiere of Allu Arjun's film 'Pushpa-2'. During the day, Hyderabad police took Allu Arjun to Chikkadpally police station, where the actor was interrogated. Later, he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days by the local court, although he got bail from the High Court. Even after bail, since all the procedures are not completed, Allu Arjun will have to spend the night in jail and will be released only on Saturday morning.
Why was Allu Arjun arrested?
Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer film 'Pushpa-2' was released in theaters on 5th December. Even before the film's release, its premiere was held at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. A woman died in the stampede that occurred after the crowd increased here. The woman's age was 35 years. After the death of the woman, the police had filed a complaint against Allu and the management of the theater in the matter. Now, taking action in this matter, the police arrested Allu Arjun and his bodyguard Santosh on Friday. Hyderabad Police has taken Allu Arjun to Chikkadpally Police Station, where he was interrogated in this case.
Lower court had given remand of 14 days
Let us tell you that earlier the lower court had given permission to send Allu Arjun to judicial custody for 14 days. After this the matter was taken to the High Court. Here the High Court has granted bail to Allu Arjun. However, due to the bail being granted in the evening, he could not be released. Now Allu Arjun will spend Friday night in police lockup and will be released on Saturday morning. After the arrest of Allu Arjun, fans were also present outside the police station.
