Indian-American artist Chandrika Tandon won her first Grammy in the best new age, ambient or chant album category for her album Triveni. She had earlier achieved nomination in Gramies, but this is the first time that she will take the trophy home. With his partners, South African fluteist vautar Kelman and Japanese cellist Eru Matsumoto, Chandrika won the award. Chandrika is the elder sister of former PepsiCo CEO Indra Noi.
Chandrika reached Indian traditional attire
The Grammy Awards was held on 2 February at the Crypto.com Arena of Los Angeles. Chandrika Tandon arrived here wearing an Indian traditional attire. He wore a beautiful silk salwar suit and completed his look with the statement necklace. She was one of the few artists of Indian origin who received nomination in different categories.

Talking about Chandrika Tandon, the musician was born and raised in Chennai. After winning the award, while talking backstage with the recording academy, Chandrika Tandon expressed her happiness and said- “It seems amazing.” He said, “I were even more best and wonderful musicians with me. For us, winning it is a very memorable opportunity.”
Win on nominees of other Indian origin
In the Best New Age, Ambient or Chant Album category, Ricky Cage's Break of Don, Rayuchi Sakamoto's opas, Anushka Shankar's Chapter II: How Dark It Is Befor Don and Radhika Vacaria's Warriors of Lite were also nominated. Leaving behind, Chandrika Tandon won the award for Triveni.
