Veteran Tamil film actor Delhi Ganesh passed away in Chennai on Saturday, November 9. He was suffering from age related diseases. He breathed his last at the age of 80. The news of his demise was confirmed by his son Mahadev by posting on social media. The actor's family is in shock due to his demise. All the fans of the actor are also very sad. Mahadev wrote in the official statement of the family, 'We are very sad to inform that our father Dr. Delhi Ganesh has passed away on November 9, 2024 at around 11 pm.'

Late Tamil actor Delhi Ganesh's real name was Ganesh, but the stage name Delhi Ganesh was given to him by film maker Balachander. After Ganesh, he took a break in acting from the film 'Patina Pravesam' (1976). Throughout his acting career, Ganesh had worked in more than 400 films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam cinema. He was also last seen in the film 'Indian 2' released in 2024. Apart from this, he was also seen in TV shows and short movies.
