In the recent episode of the 16th season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', the makers have made a big mistake. In the latest episode, the life of Zubaida, the actress of India's first talking film 'Alam Ara', was misrepresented. Now a controversy has arisen regarding the question related to him. In the last episode, Varun Dhawan and the director of the series 'Citadel Honey Bunny' became a part of the show as celebrity guests. Now Zubaida's son Khalid Mohammad has criticized this show. He declared the question itself wrong. Along with this, he has also asked the makers to apologize. Khalid clearly said that this mistake was made due to lack of research.
What was the question?
Amitabh Bachchan had asked the question to Varun and director Raj Nidimoru, 'Which actress died tragically in a plane crash along with her husband, Maharaja Hanwant Singh of Jodhpur?' Options were given for this – Sulochana, Mumtaz, Nadira and Zubaida. After using two lifelines, Varun and Raj lock Zubaida. This answer was declared correct. After this Amitabh told many facts related to this question. He said that Zubaida was married to Maharaja Hanwant Singh and she died tragically in a plane crash. Along with this, he also told that a film was also made on the life of Zubaida. Karisma Kapoor was the lead heroine in this. After hearing this, the audience got confused and this caught the attention of Zubaida's son Khalid Mohammed and he raised questions about the show.

Khalid raised the issue
Zubaida's son Khalid Mohammed raised the issue. He told that in reality his mother was not married to Maharaja Hanwant Singh but to Maharaja Narsinghgir Dhanrajgir Gyan Bahadur of Hyderabad. Khalid shared a post on X sharing complete details. He wrote, 'This is my late mother Zubaida Begum. When 'Alam Ara' was made, my mother was not even born. The makers of the show should at least apologize for this mistake. Kaun Banega Crorepati… Whoever takes the decision, I am requesting for clarification on KBC. Zubaida was a famous actress who worked in 'Alam Ara'. My mother was not Zubaida, she wanted to do acting but her strict father did not allow her to do so. How can your research team make such a mistake? Now it remains to be seen whether the makers clarify.
