Reserve Bank of India (RBI) The stock market has had a flat start today ahead of the announcement of the bi-monthly review meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC). After opening in the green, the market is swinging between red and green. In early trade, BSE Sensex is trading 10.06 points higher at 81,767.24 points. At the same time, NSE Nifty is trading 9.55 points down at 24,698.85 points. If we look at the strong stocks, ICICI BANK, M&M, ITC, JSWSTEEL, BHARTIARTL, SUNPHARMA, NTPC, INDUSINDBK and HCLTECH are bullish. At the same time, there is a decline in stocks like Infosys, HDFC Bank, Tata Motors etc.
Investors' wealth increased by Rs 15 lakh crore in 5 days
Let us tell you that due to the ongoing boom in the domestic market for the last five sessions, the wealth of investors has increased by Rs 15.18 lakh crore. BSE Sensex has risen 2,722.12 points or 3.44 percent in the last five trading sessions. The Sensex rose 809.53 points to close at 81,765.86 on Thursday. The market capitalization of 30 BSE Sensex listed companies increased by Rs 15,18,926.69 crore to Rs 4,58,17,010.11 crore in the last five sessions. Whereas NSE Nifty closed at 24,708.40 points on Thursday with a gain of 240.95 points.
