Rajasthan Investor Summit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024 and Rajasthan Global Trade Expo in Jaipur on Monday. After this, PM Modi said that every investor in the world is excited about India. He said, the development that India has achieved through the mantra of reform, performance and change can be seen in every sector. Describing this century as 'technology and data-driven', the Prime Minister said the country is showing the world the real power of democracy, demography and data. Highlighting Rajasthan's progress, PM Modi said, the priority of governments after independence was neither development nor heritage – Rajasthan has suffered a huge loss due to this. But today, our government is working on the mantra of 'Development also, heritage also'… Rajasthan is moving forward.

Announcement of investment of Rs 7.5 lakh crore

After this, Adani Group announced investment of Rs 7.5 lakh crore in various sectors in Rajasthan. Karan Adani, managing director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd, said at the 'Rising Rajasthan Summit' here that 50 per cent of the total investment will be invested within the next five years. Adani Group is planning to invest more than Rs 7.5 lakh crore in various sectors, he said. Karan Adani said, the company plans to create the world's largest integrated energy ecosystem, which will include 100 GW of renewable energy, 2 million tonnes of hydrogen and 1.8 GW of energy from hydropower projects. He said that this investment will generate green employment opportunities in Rajasthan.

Birla Group will invest Rs 50,000 crore

Aditya Birla Group is planning to invest Rs 50,000 crore in its various businesses in Rajasthan over the next few years. Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla said the group's investments will also include Rs 6,000 crore in renewable energy over the next one-two years. He said the group has a significant presence in six businesses in India including cement, telecom, fashion retail etc. We are committed to increasing investment in all our businesses, Birla said at the 'Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit' here. I think our group will invest Rs 50,000 crore in the next few years in cement, renewable energy, telecom and retail.

Company will increase cement production capacity

Mahindra Group will invest Rs 11 thousand crores

Mahindra Group's solar division is committed to invest Rs 11,000 crore in Rajasthan. Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra said at the 'Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit' here that the company has installed 1.1 gigawatt solar capacity in Rajasthan. He said, our solar division has installed more than 1.1 GW capacity in Rajasthan. Has committed to invest over Rs 11,000 crore to achieve additional 2.8 GW capacity. Mahindra said the group has created 5,000 direct jobs in the state and plans to grow this significantly over the next five years.
