The newly elected President of America (will take oath in January) Donald Trump is known for his outspoken statements. Now his latest statement has shocked three countries. Donald Trump plans to increase tariffs by an additional 10% on all Chinese goods coming into the US. Apart from China, Trump has also promised to impose an additional 25 percent on Canada and Mexico. Trump gave this information on social media last Monday.

Regional free trade agreement will end

According to CNBC news, after this post of Trump, another post came. In it, Trump said that the first of the remaining orders on January 20 would also be to impose a 25% tariff on all products coming from Mexico and Canada. This will end the regional free trade agreement. Let us tell you, Donald Trump is going to take oath as the next US President on January 20. Trump cited illegal immigration and illegal drug trade as the reason for imposing tariffs.

Trump gave the argument

Trump said that I have talked many times with China about sending large quantities of drugs, especially fentanyl, to America, but to no avail. Even contrary to promises, Beijing has not imposed the death penalty on such drug dealers. Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid, is an addictive drug that causes thousands of deaths from overdose each year in the US. Trump said that drugs are coming into our country mostly through Mexico, which has never been seen before in such quantities. Until they stop, we will impose an additional 10% tariff on all of their products coming into the US from China.
