Dividend Stock: Leading FMCG company Hindustan Unilever is going to give dividend to its shareholders. Hindustan Unilever had released its second quarter results on October 23. There was a big decline in the net profit of the company in the second quarter of the current financial year, however, despite this, the company had declared a total dividend of Rs 29 on each share for its shareholders. The company said that this dividend of Rs 29 includes an interim dividend of Rs 19 and a special dividend of Rs 10.
Record date on 6th November and money will come into account on 21st November
Hindustan Unilever has also fixed the record date for payment of this interim dividend. In an exchange filing, Hindustan Unilever said that November 6 has been fixed as the record date for this interim dividend of Rs 29 to be given to the shareholders. The company said that the dividend money will be sent to the bank accounts of the shareholders on November 21. Let us tell you that earlier in June also the company had given a final dividend of Rs 24 to its shareholders.
Big fall recorded in company's shares
Amid the fall in the stock market, a big fall is being seen in the shares of Hindustan Unilever today. As of 12.44 pm, the company's shares were trading at Rs 2548.40, down Rs 26.85 (1.04%) on BSE. During trading today, shares of Hindustan Unilever had traveled from an intraday low of Rs 2545.90 to an intraday high of Rs 2589.95.
The market cap of the company is Rs 5,99,827.15 crore.
The company's shares, which closed at Rs 2575.25 on Monday, opened today with a rise at Rs 2589.95. The 52 week low of Hindustan Unilever shares is Rs 2170.25 and 52 week high is Rs 3034.50. According to BSE, the current market cap of the company is Rs 5,99,827.15 crore.
