If you are a fan of Hyundai brand cars and want to buy your favorite model in the new year, then now you will have to pay a higher price for it. Hyundai Motor India Limited on Thursday announced to increase the prices of all its models from January 1, 2025. The company will increase the prices of vehicles by up to Rs 25,000. According to PTI news, the company said in a statement that the increase in prices has become necessary due to increase in input costs, unfavorable exchange rates and increase in logistics costs.

All models of year 2025 will be affected

According to the news, Tarun Garg, Whole Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said that with the continuous increase in input costs, it has now become necessary to pass on a part of this cost increase through minor price adjustments. He said that this price increase will be done on all models. The price increase will affect all models of the year 2025. Garg said that the company has always tried to minimize rising costs as much as possible, so that there is minimal impact on our customers.

Currently, Hyundai Motor India Limited sells a variety of cars with prices ranging from Rs 5.92 lakh for the Grand i10 Nios to Rs 46.05 lakh for the electric vehicle IONIQ 5.

BMW-Mercedes have already announced

BMW India, the Indian unit of German luxury car maker BMW, is going to increase the prices of all its models by three percent from January 2025. Mercedes-Benz had announced to increase prices of all its models in India by up to three percent from January 1, 2025, citing increase in input costs, inflationary pressures and higher operating expenses.
