At the WTSA organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) at the India Mobile Congress, the Union Minister spoke openly about the possibilities of 6G in India. Jyotiraditya Scindia said, 'India has been a leader in 5G and 4G and now India will lead in 6G also. We are following the guidance given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi wants us to become the first country to flag off 6G.

During this, the Union Minister also said that 6G in India should be accessible to everyone and should be affordable so that its benefits can reach the end users. In the International 6G Seminar organized during the India Mobile Congress, the Union Communications Minister said that our country will acquire 10 percent patents with the India 6G Alliance. For this reason, changes have been made in the Telecommunication Act, 2023 to become the market leader of 6G.

Problems in telecom sector will be solved

The government is considering removing the biggest problems in the telecom sector in India. In the digital age, work is being done by the government to remove this. At the India Mobile Congress, Jyotiraditya Scindia spoke on video call with soldiers deployed on remote borders using Airtel's satellite communication.

Satellite communication can be launched soon in India. The government is focusing on cyber security and the problems arising in digital communication are being completely focused on. The Union Minister further said that the telecom sector in India is growing very fast. We have the ability to lead the entire world in the times to come. Due to these efforts of the government, it seems that Airtel, BSNL, Jio, Vodafone-Idea users will be the first to get the gift of 6G.
