It is meaningless to compare India and Pakistan in any matter because India is far ahead of its neighboring country in every sector. Talking about technology and telecom sector, India is currently competing with many developed countries of the world. India remains the world market leader in terms of fastest 5G network rollout. At the same time, the trial of 5G service is still going on in Pakistan. If reports are to be believed, 5G service is expected to start in Pakistan soon.

There are mainly 5 mobile network operators in both India and Pakistan. In India, Jio, Airtel, Vi, BSNL and MTNL are providing 2G/3G/4G and 5G services to 120 crore mobile users of the country. 5G network

5G service in India was launched two years ago in October 2022. In the last two years, 5G service has reached about 98 percent of the districts of India. India has become the fastest country in the world to roll out 5G. Whereas, if we talk about Pakistan, 5G service has not started there.

According to Pakistani media, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) had formed an advisory committee for 5G spectrum auction last year, which includes the Finance Minister of Pakistan and other stakeholders of the telecom sector. All major telecom operators – Zong, Jazz, Telenor and Ufone have successfully completed 5G trials on 300MHz spectrum.
