He had signed 5 films, which included 'Kachchi Sadak', 'Mujh Se Shaadi Karoge', 'Kisna', 'Hulchal' and 'Aitraaz'. He completed the shooting of these films even in such a serious condition. In 2003, he met with an accident during the shooting of 'Jaal The Trap', after which he had to undergo a blood transfusion. After this he became a victim of myelodysplastic syndrome. Famous actor Amrish Puri, who played the role of villain, made his debut in 1967 with the Marathi film 'Shantatu Court Chalu Aahe'. She made her Bollywood debut in 1971 with 'Reshma Aur Shera'.
