From Barsaat, Raj to Kismat Tak, the era of multiple films being made under the same name in Hindi cinema has become old. These are those titles on which films have been made more than two-three times. Some earned a lot at the box office while some were not appreciated at all by the audience. But, today we will tell you about that Bollywood title, on which every time a film was made, it remained a flop. This is a title which many people have started considering as ominous. Not just one or two but three films have been made on this title. Do you know about this title?

Movies made with this title flopped badly at the box office.

This title is 'Karz', on which films were made not one or two but three times and all three were back to back flops. Although not three but 9 films have been made on this title, but 6 of them were connected to this title. The surprising thing is that these films also did not get much response at the box office and the makers had to face huge losses.

Rishi Kapoor had become depressed

Talking about the first loan, it came in 1980. Rishi Kapoor, Tina Munim (Tina Ambani) and Simi Garewal were in lead roles in this film. In those days, Rishi Kapoor's stardom was at its peak, but this film could not get any benefit from it. Directed by Subhash Ghai, this film got the tag of cult classic, but unfortunately in those days, this film could collect only Rs 4 crore at the box office. Actually, at the same time, Firoz Khan starrer Qurbani was released, which had a huge impact on the collection of this film. Rishi Kapoor had admitted in his biography that he was badly depressed due to the failure of this film.

How was the condition of Sunny Deol starrer Karz?

After 1980's Debt, the makers again bet on this title. This time Sunny Deol was seen in the lead role. Along with Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty and Shilpa Shetty were also in lead roles in the film. The 2002 film was directed by Harry Baweja. This film, made for Rs 11 crore, also did not do much at the box office. Due to which the makers had to suffer huge losses.

The condition of the loan which came in 2008 was also bad.

Years later, the remake of 'Karz' directed by Subhash Ghai came. This time singer Himesh Reshammiya appeared in the lead role in the film. This time Satish Kaushik bet on loan. This was the debut film of Himesh Reshammiya, in which Urmila Matondkar was also in the lead role. This film was released in 2008 and its condition was worse than the first Karz. Satish Kaushik had invested Rs 24 crores on this film and it could not even recover its budget at the box office.
