Every year there is politics regarding cleaning of Yamuna or construction of Chhath Ghat, but this time the fight is over the artificial Chhath Ghat being built on DDA land in Sheikh Sarai area of ​​Delhi.

The government has turned a blind eye here but Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj is claiming to raise the voice of Purvanchalis in Sheikh Sarai area.

When is Chhath?

Preparations for Chhath Mahaparva are in full swing across the country. Chhath Puja will start from 5th November and the first Arghya will be offered to Sun God on 7th November. Purvanchali vote plays a very important role in Delhi, that is why every party wants to be their supporter. Anyway, Delhi is standing on the verge of elections. This is the reason why digging is being done inside to build Chhath Ghat but outside the ministers are alleging that they are being stopped from performing Chhath Puja.

A large number of people going to Bihar-Jharkhand are also gathering at Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi. Here also the administration has provided all the facilities including help desk. So that people going home on Chhath festival do not face any problem.

Railways' focus is on crowd control. Holding areas have been created at all major stations. Passengers are being stopped in the holding area. Passengers will be able to reach the platform only after the train arrives. Only passengers eligible for the capacity of 1 train will be sent to the platform. If passengers are found in the bathroom, the train will not be dispatched. The train will depart only after the RFP vacates the bathroom.
