Spain and Manchester City midfielder Rodrigo Hernandez has won the biggest award in football. Fans call him Rodri. He has won the Men's Ballon d'Or 2024 award. The special thing is that he has won this big award by defeating the Real Madrid trio of Vinicius Junior, Dani Carvajal and Jude Bellingham. On the other hand, Barcelona's female footballer Etana Bonamati of Barcelona won the Women's Ballon d'Or for the second consecutive time. Bonamati played a key role in Barcelona's Liga F and Champions League double.
Rodri gave a strong performance

Only the third footballer to win the Ballon d'Or
28-year-old Rodri has become the third footballer from Spain to win the Ballon d'Or Award. He had previously won this major award for Space, Alfredo Di Stefano (1957 and 1959) and Luis Suarez (1960). This is the first time in 21 years that neither Lionel Messi nor Cristiano Ronaldo has been nominated for this prestigious award.
