Akshay Kumar's 2009 film 'Chandni Chowk to China' failed at the box office as soon as it was released. Despite having two superstars in this film, the film could not save face at the box office. However, when this film was released on TV, its fortunes changed. This superflop film at the box office became included in the top-5 most watched films. People gave a lot of love to the film on TV. But after the flop of this film, the producer of this film packed his bags and left the country. All these stories have been narrated by the film's director Nikhil Advani himself.
The producer left the country

In the same month as my film, Aamir Khan's Ghajini and Shahrukh Khan's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi were released. The film got crushed between these two films. Hollywood producer Warner Bros also left the country after this film. Nikhil told, 'Hollywood's Warner Bros had invested money in the film. He wanted to establish his work in Bollywood.
